March Recap

The beginning of March brought lots of imaginative play to our in-person classes. We celebrated National Read Across America/ Dr. Seuss Day to cultivate the love of books in our little readers! The kiddos also pretended to make gourmet meals, to run and jump like superheroes, move to music with colorful scarves and to build creative masterpieces.

As the month progressed, we shifted gears to being imaginative in our own homes, complete with virtual workouts AND virtual play groups. Moms shared photos of their kids getting creative for at-home fun by making racetracks out of painters tape, sensory bins, animal parades, rock painting, science experiments and outdoor scavenger hunts; to name a few.

Our calendar moving forward for the near future is filled with total body workout classes for mom and fun things like yoga, story-time, sing-alongs and show and tell for the kids!

April Workout Move:

Bunny Hops: With two feet together and knees slightly bent, take a big hop forward. Continue as you act like a bunny hopping through the green grass.

For an extra challenge, take it to one a one-foot hop and then switch sides!

April Recipe:

Butterfly Snack Bags: Grab a clothes pin to decorate. Adhere clothespin to snack sized bag and fill each side with snack of your choosing (cheerios, grapes, carrots, goldfish, pretzels, veggie straws, etc). If you don't have a clothespin, grab a wrapped cheese stick and rubber-band it to the middle part of the bag. Fun snack for the kids to get involved in and then take on an adventure walk searching for signs of Spring!
